A Day in the Life of a Believer
1. PRAY FIRST IN THE MORNING
Psalm 5:3—In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.
2. DON’T WASTE DAY
Psalm 90:12—Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
3. ENCOURAGE SOMEONE
Hebrews 3:13—But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.
4. DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEART
Hebrews 3:7—So, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts
5. MEDITATE ON THE WORD ALL DAY
Psalm 119-97—Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.
6. DWELL IN HOUSE OF THE LORD
Psalm 84:10—Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
7. SUFFER & DIE DAILY
Luke 9:23—"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. 24For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.
8. RENEWED
2 Cor 4:16—Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day
9. LIVE IN HARMONY
1 Peter 3:8—Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.
10. DO NOT WORRY
Matt 6:34—Therefore do not worry about to-morrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
