Full of Faith Christian Center’s Prayer Bands

 Prayer is very important in the life of a believer, and should be consistent. Full of Faith Christian Center’s Prayer Band's goal in this prayer time is to lift before the Lord the Word, the Pastor, the Congregation, and the Ministry. 

The Word is life. The enemy comes immediately for this Word of life. We pray the Word will uncover to each individual a personal insight into his or her life. Hebrews 4:12-13 states “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”

The Pastor is called by God to be a Shepard over the Full of Faith flock, which means he will be held to a higher standard of living. The responsibility is endless. Not only are we to imitate him, but also obey his instructions. We are to submit to the authority God has given him so that his work is not a burden but an advantage to us (Hebrews 13:17). The enemy has placed the pastor’s name at the top of his hit list and is in constant pursuit of him. The Prayer Band intercedes for the pastor and his family by covering them with the word.    

The Congregation is to do what the Word says. 1 John 4:7 tells us “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God”. We as believers in Jesus Christ have been commanded to love unconditionally. Although He has made us all different and blessed us in different ways, this should be a constant between all Christians. The Congregation is the body of Christ and must follow the head of the church, which is Jesus Christ. As new believers enter into the congregation the love and joy of the Lord should be evident to all. The Prayer Band continually covers the Congregation with love. 

The Ministry/Church plays an important role in spreading the name of Jesus Christ to the world. We have heard our Pastor say that this is not just another church on a corner, but we are here to change or impact the world. This ministry/church is lifted up before the Lord for the sake of the Gospel. This is to strengthen and encourage all people to have faith in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit (Acts 9:31 and 16:5).       

Please join the Prayer Band at 9:30am each Sunday morning to pray and intercede on behalf of Full of Faith Christian Center. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says to “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.” All are welcome and encouraged to participate in obeying God in praying for the Word, the Pastor, the Congregation, and the Ministry.
